Kenya Airways-KQ is upgrading its in-flight dining experience after hosting a special Product Selection event at the Pride Centre of the airline. Experts in culinary matters and a select of loyal customers gathered at the event where they sampled an assortment of new meals and drinks. This gesture forms part of revamping onboard airline dining to offer passengers memorable journeys on meals.

Allan Kilavuka, Chief Executive of Kenya Airways, said that the airline was committed to upscaling its inflight meals, adding that "food happens to be one of the most memorable things about traveling." He added that Kenya Airways is keen on making sure the in-flight dining experience is pleasing, not a mere service. The partnership with customers ensures that the revamped menu meets the diverse tastes and preferences of people.

International and Traditional Inspirations

The new menu is conceived as a mix of international food and celebration of local Kenyan flavors. "We want the food to be as exciting as the destinations you're visiting," said Kilavuka.
